LENSES
We used a Macro lens over the iPhone camera to film the closeup shots of Tilly's eye in the transition from reality to the flashbacks. This allowed us to zoom in really close to the eye whilst still maintaining a good quality shot. It looks really effective on the big screen and acts as a way for the audience to feel as if they are being taken into the mindset and perspective of Jessie, with her emotion being shown in her eyes.
We also experimented with a fish eye lens as well as a wide angle lens, but we agreed that it did not look very effective and was not needed in our piece, because we wanted it to look at realistic as possible.
