For the counselling scene makeup, Rose will have 'healing bruises' to show how she has been in a previous attack and a pale, washed out face. To do this, we are using purple, blue, black, red and yellow eyeshadows to form the bruising, blended out with foundation to make it appear like she has covered them up. We will also put dark eyshadow under her eyes to show that she is tired. Also we will use lipstick to make it look like there is a cut on her lip, as well as to make her face look red and swollen.
For the attack scene, we will use the same makeup as the counselling scene, but with added redness around the eyes and nose using eyeshadow, to show the consequences of being slapped and hit by the stalker. We are using fake blood capsules and applying the blood around the eye and dripping from the nose which makes the wounds seem recent and realistic. In both scenes she will be wearing normal makeup underneath including foundation, powder and eyeliner to even out her skintone and make her features stand out.
